10th November 2012 – January 2013
The list of internships for 2013 are online. Young Europeans are welcome to apply through the GLEN Member Organisation in their home country! You can get the application form y contacting your national member organisation. Deadlines and conditions for applying differ according to the national member organisations. Please, see the website of each member organisation!

January – February 2013
Participants are being selected.

Training seminars

April – June 2013
The training cycle begins for the participants with 2 Multipliers Training Seminars which equip them with skills needed as global educators and prepare them for their stay in the Global South.

Seminars in the GLEN Multipliers Training Cycle 2013:

English speaking GLEN group (GLEN Anglo)

French speaking GLEN group (GLEN Geco)

Internship in the Global South

July – October 2013
Usually between July and October the internship of the GLEN participants with partner organisations in Africa, Asia or South-East Europe takes place. The internship takes three months.

Global education practical phase in Europe

November 2013 – March 2014
The participants engage in global education in their home country and/or at European level. Each participant needs to implement a Global Education activity in his/her home country or in Europe, supported by his/her tutor.

RENew seminar

19th – 23rd March 2014
RENew stands for – “Seminar for Review, Engagement and Networking”. All returned GLEN participants of the GLEN training cycle meet again for 4 days in order to evaluate their internship in the Global South as well as their Global Education activity. They will prepare their future engagement in global education, and exchange with former GLEN participants, people and institutions working in this field.

After the RENew
The GLEN participants are ready to act as Global Education multipliers on their own in Europe! The participants are invited to initiate, individually or together with other GLEN participants, their own global education projects in their home country or on a European level and to act as Global Actors in their everyday life!
